Absolutely, when able. For instance I have a friend who keeps me in fresh local goat’s milk, and another who sells his beeswax to me. I grow my own lavender and infuse it into oils as well as lemon balm. And sometimes, I just use what I get from suppliers, which may or may not be organic, but I make every attempt to locally source and keep ingredients fresh.
